Compulsory Professional Development

Maintaining competence is paramount for designated members. CPD is mandatory for all members, ensuring ongoing learning and skill development aligned with the demands of their roles. From formal education to community participation and professional practice, CPD credits can be earned through various activities.

Reporting Period

Your SPCP designation is valid for one year, with CPD reporting following a three-year cycle. Submission of relevant proof of CPD activities is required for designation renewal, ensuring continued growth and development.

Exemptions and Reductions

Members may request exemptions or reductions from CPD requirements under exceptional circumstances, subject to approval. Additionally, Ordained Members with extensive experience may qualify for reductions.

Ethical Behaviour

Adherence to high ethical standards is expected from all SPCP members. Violations may result in disciplinary action, emphasizing the importance of maintaining integrity in professional activities.
